Wee Care Academy has a variety of employment and volunteer opportunities. All employees and volunteers must be able to pass a federal background check and may also be required to submit vaccination records and TB test results.
Current Employment Opportunities
Part and Full Time Substitute teachers
Wee Care Academy is seeking substitute teachers who enjoy working with children, ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Your schedule would be flexible, based on your availability and our needs.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

We need classroom volunteers who can help with: Assisting a teaching team in the classroom or Community and Family Organizing.

We need specialty skills: Graphic Design, Photography, Video & editing, Carpentry, Sewing, and other skilled trades.

WCA Advisory Board Member
WCA seeks dynamic community members who would serve on its volunteer advisory board for one- or two-year terms. Board members spend approximately 5-10 hours per month focused on initiatives to promote community outreach, the continued delivery of high-quality child care, and developing additional sources of funding for WCA. Classroom and Facility Volunteer
Each classroom had different volunteer needs. In one class, the teacher may want someone to sit on the floor and read books to a small group of children while the teacher does one on one learning activities with each child. You may be stationed in a learning center where having an extra set of adult eyes is helpful like the tool or water table area. Or if you enjoy cleaning, helping keep our classrooms sparkling and healthy by cleaning learning areas or toys.
