Growing up in the PNW, Kristy has always been passionate about the outdoors and connecting children to it. She holds AA degrees in both Accounting and Early Childhood Education and began her journey at Wee Care Academy in 2013 as an assistant teacher. Over the years, she has served as a lead teacher, Assistant Director, and Program Supervisor, and is now excited to be the Director. Rooted in nature, guided by children, and strengthened by community, Kristy is excited to lead Wee Care Academy in a way that makes it feel like everyone’s school. She loves spending time in the garden and on the nature pathways, and her favorite part of being Director is inspiring joy and curiosity in both teachers and children as they grow together.
